OC Animal Care will be closed to the public on Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Staff will still be available to take in ill, injured, or lost pets; respond to emergency calls for service; and provide daily care, cleaning, and feeding for the animals at the shelter.

If you are in need of assistance, please call (714) 259-1122 and leave a message. Staff will be monitoring the line and respond as soon as possible.

On July 1-2, 2023, the City of Huntington Beach is partnering with OC Animal Care to waive pet adoption fees for Huntington Beach residents!

When you adopt a pet, you're giving them a second chance at life and providing them with a loving, forever home.  And with so many different breeds, sizes, and personalities to choose from, at OC Animal Care, there's a perfect pet out there for everyone!

So if you're ready to open your heart and home to a new furry friend, visit OC Animal Care on July 1st and 2nd!  You'll be making a difference in the life of an animal in need, and gaining a loyal and loving companion for life!

On the first Saturday of every month, OC Animal Care host a bottle-feeding demonstration. During this time, you'll:

• learn how to bottle feed kittens along with other tips and tricks
• learn basic medical training from an RVT
