OC Animal Care is also hosting a monthly Family Fur-st Drive-Thru Pet Food Pantry for families in need, held the second Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

• Are you looking for low-cost pet care? View a list of local low-cost pet clinics in Orange County. Please call-in advance to check what services are available.

• OC Animal Care hosts a monthly low-cost vaccination and microchip clinic with services provided by H.E.A.R.T. Mobile Clinic.

• Ask if your veterinarian accepts Care Credit, a credit card specifically for health care expenses, including veterinary care for your pet.

• Try a fundraising platform such as GoFundMe, which enables you to create a personal fundraising page.

• Consider Waggle, a pet-dedicated crowdfunding solution that channels funds directly to verified veterinarians for a pet’s care.

• Look into pet insurance companies such as Nationwide that will benefit your pets in the long run if they need any additional medical care.
