OC Animal Care’s Kitten Shower is held annually to help teach the community about bottle fed kittens. During the classes, attendees learned about the Foster Program as a whole, what it takes to foster bottle kittens, and get to see up close a demonstration of a foster bottle-feeding kittens. This event is always exciting and this past one had a variety of people. In total, about 30 people came to the two classes and left with new knowledge about fostering and bottle-feeding kittens. There was also a table set up for donations, and by the end of the day the table was filled with wet and dry food, toys, baby wipes and other essential items needed during kitten season. We also launched our new foster application and a new manual. We also passed out Wait! Watch! WIN! Flyers before they left. Overall, the Kitten Shower on March 7th went smoothly and had a great turn out. We are excited for our next Kitten Shower coming up in May!
