Hot diggity dog, it’s summer! Give a shelter dog a fur-ever summer vacation by adopting from OC Animal Care! Throughout the month of June 2023, adoption fees are waived for dogs 25 pounds and over. During the adoption promotion in May 2023, a 31 percent increase was seen in adoptions for dogs 25+ pounds compared to the adoption rates in May 2022. OC Animal Care is excited to extend the promotion in hopes to find further success for our furry friends!
The adoption promotion is available to residents of any city. With over 400 adoption visits available per week, potential adopters can pre-schedule a visit by calling (714) 935-6848 or drop by for a walk-in visit. Walk-ins are welcomed on a first-come, first-served basis as staffing allows.
The waived fees include microchipping, vaccinations, spaying or neutering, and an anti-parasite treatment. Waived adoption fees do not include licensing fees or puppies six months of age or younger.
