Pencils down & eyes on the board…because July’s Volunteer of the month is none other than the engaging educator herself, Ms. Nelson!
Julie’s summer break has been spent as an intern, supporting our fast-paced foster program. In addition to that, she has used her teaching talents to help organize existing programs and create new processes to help the shelter pets. Ms. Nelson even takes on homework (in the form of foster kittens)! From singing silly songs to putting in serious service hours, no task it too below Julie - she is a delight to be around and downright pleasure to work with.
If we had to grade this ‘teach’ she would certainly get an A+! ::class dismissed::
