This past weekend, OC Animal Care hosted Fall in Love, a free adoption event with the goal of helping more animals find their forever homes by reducing the cost of adopting. We saw hundreds of interested community members over the weekend and were so grateful to meet with so many enthusiastic adopters-to-be. The event was made even more special by the presence of OC Public Libraries, who offered book recommendations for new pet owners and distributed library cards, and the Pet Adoption Center of Orange County, who provided a wealth of information about their services and helped inform guests about what kind of pet might be right for them. Overall, 94 cats, 28 dogs, 2 rabbits, and 1 exotic were adopted over the Fall in Love weekend, making a grand total of 125 adoptions! We are absolutely ecstatic to have found homes for so many animals. We would like to thank everyone who made this event’s success possible, and extend our best wishes to all the new forever families!
