Whether you're a seasoned kitten caretaker or just curious about fostering, the Meow Mixer is an incredible opportunity for you to connect with other kitten lovers and expand your knowledge on the world of fostering.

Our experienced fosters will share heartwarming stories and provide valuable insights and tips. Not only will the time be filled with a behind-the-scenes look at fostering, but it will also be fun with tasty treats and engaging games!

Fostering a long-stay dog provides them with a loving home environment, while giving them an opportunity to socialize, learn new skills and get some much-needed time away from the shelter. To become a foster and make a difference in the life of a shelter dog this summer, interested individuals are invited to attend one of the following orientation session.

August 22, 5 p.m. - 6 p.m., Register for the orientation session

Fostering a long-stay dog provides them with a loving home environment, while giving them an opportunity to socialize, learn new skills and get some much-needed time away from the shelter. To become a foster and make a difference in the life of a shelter dog this summer, interested individuals are invited to attend one of the following orientation sessions.

• August 12, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m., Register for the orientation session
• August 22, 5 p.m. - 6 p.m., Register for the orientation session

We are so excited to partner with Supervisor Chaffee again for our Kittens, Cats, & Rabbits Adoption Event on Saturday, August 5, 2023!

Adoptions for this sponsored event are by appointment and provided through vouchers.  50 vouchers are available and apply to kittens, cats, and rabbits only.  Vouchers are limited to one per household, on a first come, first serve basis, and will go live on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 10 a.m.

Pet adoptions continue to be available all day after 50 vouchers are claimed for all animals, including dogs, hamsters, etc, for a fee.

OC Animal Care host the Family Fur-st Drive Thru Pet Pantry on the second Saturday of each month to provide important resources to pet owners in the community.  All pet owners in the community in need of pet food are welcome!
