We adopted Gracie from the OC Animal Shelter in April of 2006. She was very timid the first few weeks; dealing with new surroundings, people, and a respiratory infection (she could not smell her food and was becoming dangerously underweight). After antibiotics, gaining weight, and becoming acclimated with her environment, she has become a wonderful addition to our family.

Now she enjoys playing in the yard, sleeping with her human friends, savoring her treats (Gracie really likes her treats!), and checking out my new grandson. In fact, Gracie (and her feline housemate, Jimmy) are so spoiled, in our next lives, my wife and I want to come back as our cats.
