Angel - “Beautiful little baby”
Animal Care Success Stories

Well, if anyone had told me I could love a dog so much I would have laughed! I have never hadAngel - an ACS Success Story a dog and I did not want one, more so because I feel if you have a dog it has to be part of the family and loved like a family member. My girls have begged me for years to get a dog; they are eight and ten years old. For the past four months I have been taking care of my niece form England who has cancer, and has been staying with me. She is the one that said “Let’s go to the pound!”

We took one look at Angel and that was it! We bought her that same day and picked her up five days later. She needed a bath but could not have one for seven days. I now had a smelly, dirty dog in my house AND it was the most lovable thing I could have ever wished for.

I fell in love with that beautiful little baby and she is in hog heaven! My girls have to keep pinching themselves to make sure this is not a dream–it is not! We are very lucky to have such a sweet dog. Thank you for saving her for us!

P.S. We call her Angel because we believe she is a gift from God!
