Santiago Middle School gives to OC Animal Care

The drive to make a difference in their community and their love of animals motivated two students from Santiago Middle School to initiate a fundraiser for Orange County Animal Care. The students seen here with Principal D’Agostino are presenting a check to O.C. Animal Shelter. These students worked together for three days to raise awareness in the community about the animals who needed care in animal shelters. They successfully raised $535 to donate to the Orange County Animal Shelter and collected boxes of blankets, dog treats, and food. One student explained, “We think that it is important to raise funds for animals because they can’t support themselves,” and the other stated, “If you want to do something, you have to put forth the effort.” Thank you for “putting the effort for” and helping the animals at our facility!
